Andre's Campaign; The Reboot!
Re: Andre's Campaign; The Reboot !
Oh fuck.... Yeah sorry thanks for the drawing but he's not a missionary anymore, just a bloodkain. I decided to focus on that class solely to make sure I get my armagus at 20.
Oh yes and I might as well post my idea for my nosferatu form.
Fangs elongate, eyes turn entirely black, body glows with a moroon tint. Left arm transforms, bulking up severely, claws 3 feet in length grow, and the skin along the arms and hand opens up into many mouths comprised entirely of awkwardly shaped fangs each thirsting for blood.

Re: Andre's Campaign; The Reboot !
Yeah. I know.
Almost all of the new classes are at a pretty high level of deadly. I use that as an excuse to explain them surviving in what this world has become. The old classes (although they have been tweaked) are also just as deadly, but have a slightly higher curve. My goal was making all of the classes more accessible.
Also, do we have a solid date set yet? I'm under the assumption that we are meeting for wings at noon on Tuesday and going to Elliot's afterward. Care to confirm this?
Also, Niko, there probably will be some prestige class for the Bloodkain.
I'm just out of absinthe at the moment and therefore have ground to a creative halt in making new content.

Any chance I could tag along? I could go for some wing (from wherever) and, although I won't be any use for the campaign, I could at least bring along my computer and work on the game some more, in a more distraction-free enviroment then my house.

Alright to Andrew!
Actually, I'm sure that the rest of the group wouldn't mind adding you to the campaign, AMRITE?

Totally.
And your mom can't yell at you for it because 90% of Andre's campaign isn't Dungeons and Dragons in the least bit.

Exactly!
The only thing I have in common with it is the base system.
...Which I suppose is a pretty good deal.
But anyhoo, it fits into the vague topicality realm.

I'm good to provide a ride, but I need more specific times. When should we be meeting at the BWW, and when do we need to get the hell out of Dodge Elliot's place?

Wing time is always at noon, Jake.
Always. As for GTFO time at my place, probably around seven-ish.

Re: Andre's Campaign; The Reboot !
Sounds good! I'll pick you up around 11:30-ish.
I completed my character sheet based on the assumption that we're starting this campaign at lv. 1. In addition to this, I tried to be extremely thourough in my completion of the sheet, even recording the weight of Laika's possessions and thinking carefully about what Laika would carry on him.
Oh, and his scarf is actually the tail end of a 50-ft. silk rope. The rest of it is wrapped around his body underneath his shirt and armor. Just felt like mentioning that.

Re: Andre's Campaign; The Reboot !
Can't go to member's night, sorry. I'm being forced to go skiing on my birthday, so I can't stay out too late.
And all I really wanted to do was have some uninterrupted time to set up some sites, a paypal account, advertising for said sites, mess around with Comicspress, upgrade my Mac, and draw.
*sighs*
Tomorrow'll still be fun, though.
Edit: Alright, finished adjusting my character sheet to 7th level. I have to say, on paper Laika appears to be an absolute beast. I can't wait to see if this perception is accurate during tomorrow's session.

Re: Andre's Campaign; The Reboot !
Of course, keep in mind the base system deals almost entirely with game mechanics and only tangentally with content via feats, skills, and spells, and the 'spells' part is simply part of the swords-and-sorcery setting. You could easily replace spells with 'psionics' or 'superpowers.' Or something along those lines.VonGentlemen wrote:Exactly!

Re: Andre's Campaign; The Reboot !
Since I made a new character yesterday, I figured I'd put up a bio, too, since I want to flesh him out a bit.
Name: Artemis Vulcan mk.XIV
Gender: Male
Race: Golem (Clockwork Doll)
Class: Brawler (Without being a drunken dumbass)
Looks:
Being made of metal, his skin is a shiny silver. He also has silver-white metal hair, put into a single ponytail while still having quite a bit to spare on the top of his head. He wears nobles' clothing, mainly a pair of black pants with a green vest and a grey nobleman's tailcoat with pretty green and red embroideries. He rolls up his sleeves to elbow-length while fighting. His shoes are also very nice, with a black sheen. His eyes are red, and he has quite a fair appearance, seeing as Clockwork Dolls are made generally as works of art. He carries no weapons.
Stats(I already have these.):
Strength - 20 (He's a freaking robot.)
Dexterity - 20 (He's a freaking robot.)
Constitution - 20 (HE'S A FREAKING ROBOT.)
Intelligence - 14 (Oddly enough, he has a bit of intelligence to him, though he's quite gullible, as we've seen.)
Wisdom - 17 (This really should be lower, seeing how innocent he is. I'll talk with Andre about maybe changing that.)
Charisma - 18 (Despite being a freaking robot, he's good looking and has a nice voice.)
Belief System:
Alignment: Lawful Neutral. As a Clockwork Doll, Artemis has a strict moral code to follow the orders to the exact word of the subject he deems as his master. Currently, he looks to Rafael, seeing how he's obviously the smartest of the group.
Religion: Anheim's religion. I don't have to describe that because we all know what it is.
General Moral Statement: "Permission to activate combat procedure?"
Talents:
-Hand to hand combat. He was built for it, not to mention his fists are made of freaking metal.
-Following his friends and learning more about the world.
-Anheim radar. He secretly tracks the location of the Anheim city when he flips someone off.
Likes:
-Whatever his friends like. Being an android, he really has no preference to do anything.
Dislikes:
-Whatever his friends don't like.
-Vampires. Since Anheim made him, it's hardwired into him.
-Things that hurt his friends. That activates theMurakumo anger unit.
Theme Song(Normal): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klxai9aaxUw - Happy Up Here, by Royksopp. It kind of gives off a robotic, yet cheerful atmosphere, which is generally how Artemis acts, even under pressure. The "Up Here" could also represent the Anheim City.
Theme Song(Combat): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hnzYsNymOJ4 - Circuit Breaker, by Royksopp. What starts as an epic, yet simple drum and bass rhythm becomes Rokysopp's unique techno-poetry that made me fall in love with them. Since Clockwork Dolls are works of art, it fits, especially in the heat of battle when tension is high.
Bio (Pretty bad):
-Artemis was built by F in Celestial Factory #0206K, located in the basements of the Anheim City. He was built for combat, especially against vampires. He eventually would be able to recognize every single Letter, as well as his Doll comrades in his unit. He had met the Archangel, and had even been a part of Anheim's meetings as a ceremonial guest. Three years passed, and during a field training exercise, the Masquerade attacked and took Artemis as well as his entire unit. The Masquerade converted him into one of their own Dolls, erasing his social memory while keeping his normal memory, in hopes of being able to locate and attack the Anheim City. For two years, he had laid in wait before he woke up and met the group after the Nightwatch strike force had finished off the Masquerade castle.
EDIT: Artemis got an 19 on the Mary Sue Litmus Test. I figured he would be kinda Sue-ish due to his good looks and him being built by Anheim.
