Two years ago the first page of Parallel Dementia went up. I had something rather large in mind for celebration, but thanks to school it's not been finished on time for the anniversary. But it's coming along nicely, and I hope to have said big thing done, or at least done enough to show, within a few days. School comes first, though.
But enough of that. It's PD's birthday and I'll cry if I want to! Cry if I want to! Cry if I want to! You would cry too if your webcominc was twwoooooooooo.
For serious. I said it last year and will say it again; this has been an incredibly rewarding hobby that has boosted my abilities in art, writing, and probably management more than I think they could have been boosted any other way in a two year period. In Parallel Dementia's last year it was part of the longest running (page and time) crossover in webcomic history. We were also truly introduced to the Mistress of Blades, and have encountered Russell Icar, a new villain.
My work with NJ Huff significantly helped me to better my work. Based on her style I brought my human-figure drawing ability up, and I think that she got some background skill from me. But NJ's help has probably more significantly affected my writing ability, as I strove to make my characters somewhat as strong as hers.
I look forward to the future of Parallel Dementia and want to thank my friends and fans for giving me reason to keep it going. Thanks with your comments and encouragement.
Here's to the next two years!
