This thread is a place to post and discuss your theories on what's happened or going to happen in Parallel Dementia.

Note that I won't participate much in such a thread, only to correct unintentional misunderstandings. To speculate my own plot would be silly.

Today's comic kicked ass. Very atmospheric -- which is quite a clever trick to pull in smoke and underwater! Haha, I crack myself up. Anyway, I guess it doesn't take a lot of foresight to speculate that this is where some random gangsters lose Boris. As for the rest, I may be confused.

I speculate that there will be 10 to 12 mercenary characters in this comic. They will be characters that Bean didn't create. I know, that sounds kind of crazy, but I assure you, it will happen...it WILL happen.

I've been thinking. Alex is so good with knives, it seems supernatural. She's perfect. Stopping a charging gargoyle in its tracks, hitting a rooftop sniper's scope from ground level -- it's incredible.

Theoretically, she could just be a Badass Normal, with a natural talent and lots of practice. However, she's not living in a normal world. Nightmares are there, and gods of a sort, who seem to be empowered by belief.

Also, Alex of the many names isn't normal. Alexi. Alexandra. Sword Demon. Mistress of Blades. Alex has titles like a god has titles.

Alex wasn't just known. Names have reputations. Titles have legends.

Once stories take root in a place, they don't necessarily die out just because their subject is gone. It might be that larger-than-life legends of her are still being maintained in her homeland, or even in the wider underworld beyond it.

Belief in the Sword Demon. Honor for the Mistress of Blades.

Alex might not actually be a full-blown god...yet. But I suspect that she's not quite human anymore either.
