New Forum

Post by 834n »

The run down! I've decided on using the forums CG offers for its comics now, rather than try and join a collective forum. These forums tend to be reliable and many of my readers already have an account here. Thank you, CG.

And welcome, readers, to PD's new forum.

It was glorious! There was a merry-go-round and free beverages and a swimming pool! And every Tuesday night was bingo night!

Actually there were some pretty big threads, like the Speculation Thread, Ask a Character Thread and the thread where I first asked for recruits for the minor/ background Templar characters (that's where all the cameo Templar come from).
I wanna do something along those lines again but can't without major spoilers yet. To the recruiting thread, that is. Maybe I'll start up Q&A again when I get back.

ALSO: I am on vacation! There is Internet where I am staying, but it is very shaky. Like, up for five minutes then down again. But at least it's here. Not that I have much time at the computer anyway.
It's going well aside from a few little mishaps on the road but those happen. Tomorrow I am going rafting!

As Aquamantor mentioned in the tagboard today, and as has been mentioned above, I did a recruiting thread in my old forums to get the cameo Templar. Anyway, for nostalgia's sake, here's the old character bios for most of them.
I must note, however, that MANY of their ranks, abilities, and back stories have seen change since these were made. Not that we'll necessarily get full backstory on most of them.

Ho ho. That was totally a lie. I'm too lazy to upload all those images and write about my trip!

"Since then he has been trained in the use of various paranormal and marital fighting styles." I didn't realize that domestic violence had become so formalized! :o

"Including a machine gun, anti-tank gun, laser, twin blades, and serf-destruct system." If Russia attacks, they'll be ready!

Yes. Those are also riddled with sloppy grammar and spelling errors.

I forgot to say thank you, I appreciate the insight into your process. To clarify, I wasn't criticizing the lack of refinement -- I understand that it's background and I ignored the other typos -- it's just that marital fighting styles and serf-destruct systems are inherently funny concepts to me.

I guess that's what happens when you marry a serf.

I bet marital fighting involves using a ball and chain like a mace.

Just to let you know, I sent you back your thread that was in ADAM's forum.
Now that you have your own forum on CG, you get to keep it!

I'll miss having someone else start a thread in my forum though *cries*
