Bimbo's Sisters?

So, in another thread of mine, Poe says this:<P>"Bimbo has five other sisters: Bambi, Buxom, Barbra Ann, Bush, and Bunny"<P>Now, looking through the old Babs comics, we find Jordan mentioning "Your sister called". When asked, she says "The one who always has that wierd cat hanging around her". Babs counters with the name of said sister: "Bimbo".<P>So, Bimbo Moneymaker is related to Babylon Jones. She apparently has a sister (Babylon does) named Buxom Jr. This means that Bimbo's mom is named Buxom, yes?<P>So how did Bimbo and Babs end up with different surnames, and why didn't Babs recognize Ralph?<P>Hrm... Mayhap different dads? Growing up in a trailer park kind of insinuates that kind of thing, doesn't it? Or maybe Babs was married, and some strange occurence ended that relationship. (He couldn't handle her being a Bi-Ninja Chick?)<P>Or maybe Poe just named 'em like he did 'cause "Babylon Moneymaker" is not the most cool name for a comic. Would you hire someone named Babylon Moneymaker to do yer dirty work?<P>On the other side of the coin, perhaps Bimbo Jones just doesn't work as a name for a Porn Star. (speaking of dirty work <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif">)<P>About her not recognizing Ralph, it might be that Babylon never actually met him, so that would explain why she didn't recognize him. Also, it was kinda dark, and his ears are mostly hidden by his hair.<P>She also coulda been pre-occupied by the fact that she had been hired to kill someone she cares about, and just didn't notice that little detail.<P>-Zodo

Wow, it sure took a long time for it to hit me that this was *that* Babylon Jones. Had to reread Babylon Jones twice a few days ago to realize it. Eh, guess it's cause I always pictured Babylon as being older, and this Jones seems to be around Jordan's age, even if she's a tad older. Eh, s'ok. And I agree with Poe's earlier by-line, this would have been more interesting if they were both naked <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif"> And he had plenty of opportunity, what with those burning lasers going around.<P>"Damn, I had it set to 'burn clothes off mode'!"<P>------------------

Oy... *points at the disclamer on the babylon page about continuity*<P>Heh, had I not have been in such a rush when I was putting those pages up, I probbly would've notice that little piece of dialog and changed it a bit... By now I've realized what a huge continuity error that the recent EN storyline has been, particuly if I ever get around to doing more BJ comics it's gonna be mess to try and work around.<P>As for Bimbo's family, the next story-arc will go into more detell about her sisters, her mother, and just what the hell is the origin of those horrid first names.<P>
And yes, you're right... "Barbra Ann Jones Moneymaker" WOULD be a rather crappy name for a comic... a Fox dramaedy about a twenty-somthing anorexic lawyer chick, maybe... but not a comic.
