Single comic page being difficult

Post by dragonsofcrystal »

I posted a comic into butch and it uploaded on time, so no problem. However, I had to remove it to add my copyright mark, which I'd forgotten. I did this with another in the past, same thing, and it showed up when I followed procedure. However, this one will NOT show up. http://dragonsofcrystal.comicgenesis.co ... 01006.html I was then going to go onto Butch and simply mark it as a day forward, so trick the system into showing it, andmaybe switch it to its correct day later on. For the last two weeks, however, I've been unable to access Butch. Wether on my own computer, or the library's computer, it won't load up. I keep getting a Network error that, even upon investigating into and seeking help about, will not fix itself.

By following the forum, I can now log into SiteAdmin for the first time since I signed up my comic, Dragons of Crystal. Though now, since I'm used to Butch and cannot access it, I find myself lost as how to repair the damaged page. It's a pivotal point in the story as well, which is really a kick in the pants.. If someone could explain how to fix this, I would really appreciate it.

Ah. Another thing.. I've been trying and trying to put a counter up on my site since day 1. I got my site coding from the walkthrough provided in the wiki, and plan to tamper with it as I learn more about it... but I just can't seem to get my counter to display. I'd have to go through the coding to find where I put it, and that itself is another problem, as I can no longer access Butch from my current location. Anyone have an idiots guide to where to put your counter, and how to work SiteAdmin for the Butch minded?

if you removed the comic from the public_html/d/comics folder just put it in your workspace/comics folder via ftp i use fire ftp addon for firefox hostname is ftp://yourcomic.comicgenesis.com the logon is not your forum logon but the one used to access quickadmin. siteadmin has those details as well. once you have uploaded the comic to the folder you can use quick admin to force an update and in an hour or so it will be fixed.
