Administrators: Can't Login

Hi, the siteadmin site won't let me in. (http://siteadmin.comicgenesis.com)

My forum username isn't the same as my site username, so how does it know which site is mine?

I'm a new user, and my forum name doesn't start with a capital letter, but I read that the system takes care of that. Is that right? Should I create a new forum account? And if I do, how will it know to match me with my site?

Thx

This seems to be a growing problem. Several threads in the Help forum have been created, which causes me to wonder what's up. Try to log in with your first letter capitalized. From inside Site Admin, you attach your comic site to be administrated. It'll make sense once you're in.

Hi, again, Buster. The problem is I can't login to Site Admin. It keeps giving me this message:

"Forum Username elefant not valid!
You must have a ComicGenesis Forum login (or you entered a bad username or password, it is CASE SENSITIVE.)

Please see below for possible correct spellings:

elefant

Logout to try again (hit cancel):"

It gives me this message whether I login with "elefant" or "Elefant".

This is driving me crazy. Why do we even have to login to the forums first in the first place? Why can't we just login to the Site Admin directly?

Thx for trying to help. Apparently CG doesn't do that anymore.

Still won't let me in. This is getting ridiculous. I'll give $100 to anyone who can get me logged in. :) *big sigh*

LOL, no one cares. OK, I can take a hint. I'm just going to assume the site isn't accepting new members right now.

Peace, everybody.

I hear you, mate. I've been active on the forums for a little while now with no problems, but I still can't get to into the siteadmin to UL my artwork. It sucks, 'cause I'm REALLY anxious to get my comic going on here! :(

Apparently, it's an old problem, but the update on the issue was quite a long time ago, and I don't recall a notice saying the problem had been alleviated, or what you now have to do to be able to log in. Supposedly you can UL via ftp, but now I hear that's down, too? I'd love to know what's going on. :-?

We could be wrong, as we are in no way experts, but we were under the impression that if your user name wasn't originally registered as beginning with a capital letter (i.e. "Elefant" vs. "elefant"), you wouldn't be able to sign in to siteadmin. Try creating a new forum account that starts with a capital letter and try again.

*Disclaimer: If we're wrong, blame mcDuffies. Not that he's in any way responsible, but he's used to being blamed for stuff.

That's what I had to do.

Elefant, it's not that no one cares, it's just that there really isn't anyone (at this time) who can help. That's why there's so many threads about it in the Help Forum. I realize it's overwhelming due to the sheer amount of posts in some of those threads, but that's really where you'd get the meat of the information.
