I took a few months off, and now my comics will not update anymore. I'm doing just like I did before: putting the new comics in the "comics" subfolder in the "workplace" folder. And what's more my archive page won't update, and I can't update my homepage by modifying the "indextemplate.html" file anymore.
Please help, this is maddening.

How recently have you been trying to update your comic? Because right now the queue is a bit full.

Re: site won't update anymore
10:00 PM yesterday, and about the same time the day before. I click "full update", give it a few hours, and nothing happens.
I updated this site for 4 years, without a hitch, accumulating over 460 comics in my archive, and loved every minute of it. Then some money problems pulled me away for a few months, and now I can’t update a darn thing.
Please help someone. I'm not that good at html coding, and it was a lot of work to get my site where it is now. I'd really hate to have to start over.

Well, right now the update queue appears to be full and stuck, so all we can do for the time being is sit tight and wait for an admin to give it a push.

Follow the link in Cope's message above. The Admins tried to change some behind-the-scenes stuff and the whole system bogged down. If you want to check the status of the "real" queue, you need to go here:

You log in using your FTP name and password.

Re: site won't update anymore
I finally figured it out.
After picking through some forum entries, I figured out I needed to look at my "keencc" file, where it said I had an "invalid day of the month". But the day it was having a problem with was from almost 2 years ago.
That's right, a misnamed comics image from 2 years ago was locking up the entire site, keeping everything from updating. Go figure.
I really hope the new system isn't going to be this difficult all the time.
I'm just happy to finally see it work out. Thanks for all your help guys, sorry to put you through so much trouble for something that ended up being so simple.
