Storyline dropdown problem

Post by Lazylonewolf »

Links not working in the dropdown, for example, when trying to go to the homepage for Cat Nine (http://lazylonewolf.comicgenesis.com )
It keeps going here http://lazylonewolf.comicgenesis.com /?from=dropdown.php .
I even checked if something's wrong with the dropdown.txt file, even tried re-uploading it but, still the same problem.

Oh yeah, my first page's next day button isn't working too, it keeps going to http://d/20080505.html ...

Here's the dropdown.txt just in case. I'm pretty sure I was following the CGWiki tutorial properly, and it was working fine until now.

Whatever the problem is, you're not the only one having it; I've seen the same thing on other strips. (Although mine appears to be working..)
"gooey-duck". A clam. Not a snail.

I assume you're using the ***story_archive*** keentag with dropdown.txt?

The difference that I can see between the two comics is that on Lazylonewolf's is this line:

Code: Select all

<select name="section"><option value="http://lazylonewolf.comicgenesis.com /
GeoDuck's does not have that space at the end before the slash.

If you're using the Keentag then I don't see how to alter that (assuming that this is the problem).

I'm using ***storyline*** tag. I think I'll try the ***story_archive*** just in case.

AutoGenesis does not remove spaces after commas in the storyline dropdown file, what AutoKeen did. I will have to fix that.

Also, the first two fields (title and URL) ARE REQUIRED!

*grumble* Try a full update this time around, and fix that dropdown file.

Thanks, that fixed it. Say, is the ***big_csscalendar*** still working? It doesn't appear in the archives so I had to use the ***big_calendar*** tag instead.
