Hi there,

sorry to bother you all since I know you have lots to do to keep this site up and running but I've been having some troubles with my pog and banner images. I designed them according to the specs outlined in the wiki (here for the pogs: http://cgwiki.comicgenesis.com/index.ph ... ting_a_pog) and according to the banner sizes declared usable (here: http://cgwiki.comicgenesis.com/index.ph ... atar_Guide).

The site informed me not to be surprised if I waited over a week for the images to be approved and put into circulation, so I waited. I posted them on the 8th of June and it is now the 13th of July. Is there something wrong with the images that is delaying their approval? or Is the process of approval just severely behind right now and I should just continue waiting and things will straighten themselves out eventually?

Please let me know.

As far as I know there is nothing wrong with the pog and banner approval system per se, but I have noticed an increase in waiting times.

I think that there are fewer people active who are on said committee and we might need to organise to add a few people in order to get the waiting times down. A week isn't too bad. A month and a half is excessive.

I'll pass your concerns on to the appropriate people.

I too have been waiting over two weeks for approval on my new comic newsbox and pog.

Is it possible to get my banners/pogs/newsbox images running without using SiteAdmin? All the Keenspace Wikis say "go to siteadmin" to turn in my banners/pogs etc, but I've never been able to enter SiteAdmin...therefore problems.

I'm not aware of any workarounds to get pog and banner images up without running them through SiteAdmin. I think that this is because if they get uploaded via the backend, they end up in the system and show up but don't point to the comic.

Still no ETA on SiteAdmin

I was wondering. Is the hold up possibly because there aren't enough people to review the images and the current moderators are too busy? If so I'd be willing to help out so that everything runs smoother.

This issue has been raised in the admin section, and (as far as I can tell), that would appear to be the case. The old panel members don't seem to be as active as they used to be and no new people have been "hired".

I'll follow this up again and see if we can get something happening.
