when i try to access my webcomic @ http://psitech.comicgen.com i get a page load error

when i try to access my ftp to upload new comics - it doesn't work either

i look here, i see others with similar problems

is there a general server malfunction somewhere? how many are problems with this?

We have problems with this! Alas. But it does seem to only be partial since a couple of comics still show pages and keenspot seems fine.

The main CG page is down, and all the comics as far as I can tell. Separate sections like the wiki and the forums (here) all seem to be working.

Relax. I'm sure they ARE working their tails off to fix this. It would be nice to get an update and a time estimate for the fix, though.

I hope people are working on this. When the site told me there was no data I was worried some hacker may have deleted it all.

Mine is back up. My daily traffic is 10% of usual ( ~500 unique visitors, down to 50 today). Joy.

Okay. Our best guess is that someone routing through an IP address in Korea Telecom's netspace was trying to break into any server in our netblock -- and flooded our servers in a brute force attack. The systems went down before any break-ins happened.

We'll be performing emergency updates tomorrow to make sure we don't get any more attacks.

I've just posted a global announcement about that. KeenMom Teri Crosby just informed me. Forums seem to be untouched, nor some of the other Keenspot servers.
