No Password Activation Code Mail?

So I don't think this problems is one of the ones covered in the stickies, or one that's been posted about before (if it has been, please forgive me...I pretty much just searched the titles)
I signed up for a new comic and the process seems to have gone pretty smoothly up until what I think is the very last step: the password activation code email.
I got the email saying my account was up and running and prompting me to set an ftp password a couple days ago. I did the password thing right away, the page claimed it was "sending e-mail...sent!" but I never got anything. About 12 hours later I tried the password thing again (in retrospect, probably not one of my better ideas since it would just start the process all over again, wouldn't it?
) and the same thing happened and still no e-mail. It's been 24 hours since that.
I know the e-mail isn't in my spam box. The ftp password I tred to set isn't quite working yet. All the other stages of signup have had no problems, it's just this particular one. I read in the tutorials somewhere that it can take a few hours for emails to go out if the server is busy, but now that it's been a whole day I'm a little bit worried. Of course if I just need to learn the fine art of patience, feel free to tell me that!
And I hope also, that I've provided enough information so that my problem makes sense.
