Banner Confusion

On the 19th, I uploaded three banners and a pog to SiteAdmin - all of which match the size and kb guidelines as described in the CGwiki. They're accurate reflections of my comic, at least as far as I can tell, and don't contain any offensive content.

I do recall reading somewhere that these things have to be Approved by a human... so, is it normal for them to be on the shelf this long? Or are there some problems or changes I'm missing and need to revise?

(also, while I'm asking, is there any way to edit the Guide Info, through Site Admin or elsewhere? MechaSentient entry doesn't even list me as author.)

Yes, they do need human approval. Depending on a variety of factors, they may wait only a few minutes or a month or two. I'll send a "any news?" pm to see if there are any known delays or if the system is just running a little slower (ie: people are busy). If nothing has changed in another 14 days, post again and we'll go more pro-active.

To me, they seem ok.

As for the Guide, no. There is no way for the data there to be changed. The Guide is being depreciated (and soon won't appear at all) in favour of the CGWiki. make sure that your comic's CGWiki page is what you want it to be and direct people to that.
