ad flexibility

I've read we have to keep on ad on our pages. Is there any flexibility on how its displayed on our page? Different size, or possibly a vertical one?

The ad that you have to have is the BURST Net ads which help pay for the hosting and bandwidth.
You do this by having the
***advertisment*** keentag at the top of each page of your comic site. The easiest way to do this is to put the ***advertisment*** keentag immediately after the <body> tag.
However, some people are able to incorporate the ad into the banner or layout of their site so that it blends in a little better.
You
cannot change the code used to display the ad.
You
cannot have the ad below your comic.
You
cannot have the ad at the bottom of the page.
Having the ad on your page is how you "pay" for your free account.

Ok, is there by chance a standard size for the advertisement? So I can fix a CSS div to a size? That would help me place it at the top of the page within my web page design.

Generally, from what I've seen, the ad(s) are 468 x 60 pixels.
I think I've seen one or two ads that didn't fill up the available space, but generally, that's the size.

no, 768x60, check the iFrame's size when you view source.

Odd, I did that. I went to the CG front page, clicked on a few pogs and looked at the source code for those comics. I must have looked in the wrong place or something.
Oh well, my bad - now I know better. It's 768x60.

Not sure how exactly to do it using div's as you did in your code, but I'd just place:
Code: Select all
<center> ***advertisment*** </center>
at the top of the page.
I'm pretty sure that the center tag is being depreciated and you're not meant to use it any more, but all the browsers (that I know of) still support it.
