"Hosted on Comicgenesis" text in the middle of my comics

Post by Gloria »

Hi. I recently noticed on looking through my archives that my multi-image comics are being SPLIT IN HALF by a dumb little link which reads "hosted on comicgenesis" stuck right in between the first and second images.

See here for an example of where this REALLY gets annoying: http://untitled.comicgen.com/d/20060822.html

As you can see, that ad is seriously breaking up the flow of the strip.

Is there ANY way to get rid of this ad, or at least keep it from doing this?

I understand CG wants to make sure everybody knows who they are and where their website is, but, well... this method just seems kind of... cheap and intrusive.

Thank you, and forgive me if this topic has already been addressed somewhere and I missed it.

This is because your ***advertisement*** tag is not at the very top of every page like it should be. Fix that on your dailytemplate, and things will be fine.

Most of the places that I've read about the advertisements have said that they need to be "above the fold, before the comic", so I can see why he figured it would be okay to have it below the banner.
