When it asked me in the signup what I wanted to title my comic I put in the name I had been playing with but I recently found out that there is another comic with the same name. I don't want to get people confused so is there anyway to change the name afterwards, and even if I can't, will the name be displayed anywhere?

I'm pretty sure you can change the title in siteadmin afterwards, yes. You won't be able to change the URL though.
