My index page is trying to kill me.

Oooookay. I have done a loooong look-see around here on the forums, checked me gear, and all that razzle dazzle, and still a solution to my problem eludes me. My problem plays out in this fashion.

My comic, Superzero has lotsa pages. Wheee! I'm so proud. However, I've recently made some changes, putting links to mine and my artist's Livejournals, put more comic navigation buttons in, and so on and so forth. I altered the dailytemplate and the indextemplate, and even *gasp* the index itself on my pc, and then proceeded to ensure they looked all pretty and worked and everything. They did. I uploaded them, triggered an update, and waited. Everything seemed to be ok, the old pages all updated to look nice, and the index worked fine.

Once.

I refreshed, and the Index is back to the old version. Ugly, ugly as sin! I hates it! Hissssss.....

Now, this struck me as odd, but not unfixable. The new comics kept updating to the old index look, but as soon as a new one went up the last weeks comic would take on the proper page, so the dailytemplate is fine. Allright, so I opened up the dailytemplate, took a look at it, and saved it again as indextemplate. Upload it. It works fine.

Once.

Grrr....

Anyway, that's me problem. Index won't change to what I want. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe try deleting the old index.html and then triggering an update? That should get rid of any chance of the old one popping up.

You probably have a copy of index.html in your workspace/webpages directory. Get rid of it.

Wow. I feel like such an idiot now... but thanks, a thousand times, thanks!

Deleting the index.html in my workspace/webpages directory did the trick. I have no idea how a copy got there or what, but I am very pleased to be rid of it.

Again, my thanks.
