Big oops. Need help.

Post by Leujin »

Um. I kind of accidentally deleted all the files for my comic. I rebuilt most of it, but I'm still having trouble with the daily pages and such. Help. Please.

Oh yes, and I can't see the comic I posted for today.

Oh dear. What exactly did you delete? Did you delete both files and folders? Which ones exactly?

If you mean "all the files" as in "all the files and folders", then you'll need assistance from an admin. There are a few things that cannot be recreated by users. Fortunately, the key word is "few", so depending on what exactly you've deleted, you may be able to fix it yourself.

I killed all the files and folders in the workspace, but I reconstruced them. They all seem to still be there in the public_html, so that's not the problem. I actually managed to resolve most of it, the only one I couldn't remember was the folder name for the other pages.

It's "webpages". However, even recreating folders and renaming them correctly can screw up the updater. If your archive pages aren't being generated and you do have dailytemplate.html in your workspace directory, then you'll need to contact an admin.

That issue managed to resolve itself somehow. Magic, perhaps.
