I looked and looked before posting this, but is there any sort of explanation on how to read the "stats" page on the admin site?

Not... that I'm aware of. It's meant to be pretty self explanatory. What in particular are you having difficulty reading?

Mainly the difference between hits, visits, pages, sites, and what the KB is measuring. That stuff.
