Multiple updates?

Post by Skazka »

Is it possible to update more than one page a day?
I tried naming two pages the same date then adding a and b, but that put them on the same page which looks pretty stupid...
Help?

You can backdate your comics. For example, if you want to put two comics up on June 3, simply date the first as 20060602.ext and the second as 20060603.ext

Thanks, but that would only work if there was nothing there, right?
I have updated the comic every day so far.

Correct.

Really? Wow. In that case, I'd just advise you to use the surplus as a buffer.

...I have no idea what you just said...

The updating every day-part is probably not really that impressive since my comic is less than a week old.

Um.. anyways, I just tried changing all the pages' names to older dates.
That is not recomended from now on... I think I've broken my comic. *changing it back* :-? :D

A buffer is, basically, comics made in advance. If you have a comic for Saturday made already and you make another comic right afterwards, but it's still Saturday, then you can simply make that comic the comic for Sunday. That way, you're one comic ahead.
My comic is about mullets, Mikes, and all the squares they care about. http://mikethemulletthing.comicgenesis.com
