Transferring Domain Name to New Registrar a bother?

Post by Reactor »

I might transfer my domain name to a new, cheaper registrar. One consideration about whether I will do this is the concern that it might cause work for the CG administrators. I don't want to cause them to do any extra work.

If I just set the DNS to ns3.comicgenesis.com and ns4.comicgenesis.com
with the new registrar, do the CG administrators need to do anything? Do I need to email them with info about the new registrar?

Thanks.

Well, nobody replied, so I will answer my own question. I changed my domain to a different registrar, and everything's fine! I didn't have to ask CG to change anything. The domain still goes to my CG comic.

Yup.

Dunno why nobody answered, sorry about that.

But so long as you keep the nameservers properly pointed, you should be fine.

Denial is not falsification. You can't avoid a fact just because you don't like it.
