Giant White Boxes with Red X on the Corner

I get big blank images with a small red x on the corner for my comic images. I don't understand a thing on the ensign manual. I am a ultra noob to this stuff. ^_^;; Please help? I am too afraid to mess with anything on the htmls.

Are the images in CMYK format when you save them in your art program (Photoshop, gimp, whatever)? RGB is the kind that works on the web, so just check your settings.

If it's not that, link your site so we can have a looksie!
