i try to access my admin to update my site but there is an error message and it keeps blocking me from updating,it seems to be happening to others as well but it hasn't resolved its self is there any way around this?

Also having problems updating my comic

What are you doing, exactly? What urls are you using? What error messages are you getting? Where exactly does the system fail?

More details, please. Which siteadmin, what error message, what were you doing exactly? Have you tried clearing cache and cookies and then trying again? Have you tried both siteadmin utilities? They're http://siteadmin.comicgenesis.com (you need to be logged into the forum before you access the page) and http://siteadmin.comicgenesis.com:8080 .

Okay, I'm sorry I was vague.
The first link that Rianeva posted was the same page I got when I went to login on the main page. As before, when I entered in the information, username and password, it only reloaded the page and blanked the boxes where I had typed the information.
However the second link brought me where I needed to go and logged in fine. Why does the main page lead you to the first link if it's the second link that works? Don't know if you can do anything about that, but thank you for getting back to me.

The first link is the new siteadmin. It's meant to eventually replace the old one.

Chances are, you probably weren't logged into the forum first, right? The way you access the new siteadmin is with your forum login. You then use your comic information one time to link your comic to your forum account. Afterwards, you can then use the siteadmin by logging into the forums, then going to the siteadmin. Ideally, you'd be able to use your forum login to access siteadmin without logging into the forum, but there is a bug that prevents this. I believe the admins are still working on fixing it, but they're busy people, so it could take awhile.

I had the same problem what you said worked, but then it asked me for my FTP name, and when I added it it gave me this error messege.

Thanks to everyone for your help. Hopefully the siteadmin will be working at the new address shortly. I'll keep using the old address until then. Thanks again!
