Comic Genesis Forums

I apologise for this, but I've been searching for near an hour and have yet to find a solution to the problem. Each time I try to log in, to try to manually update my comic, I get the message:
"Error_login

Click_return_login

Click_return_index"

I think it might have something to do with the security of my web browser but can't be sure. I'm still searching through the help posts to see if I can find it on my own, but in the mean time, have any ideas what's wrong?

Ah, I discovered the problem and have fixed it and logged on successfully ^^ sorry to bother you all.

um...how did you fix it, because I am having the same problem that you were and it is driving me nuts.

I too am having the same problem, and I wanted to get my update in before the midnight rush =/

You have to log into the forums then go to comic genesis and log in there, it must be done in the same window. [/b]

You're using the "http://siteadmin.comicgenesis.com/" url, right? One of the bugs of that url is that you need to be logged into your forum account here, then go to the siteadmin page in the same window.

There should probably be a sticky or something about this...

Is there another url to log in to? I tried looking but couldn't find it and can log in now, but I'm curious.

The old siteadmin. Some of us still use it, even though it's not up on the front page.

There are currently two siteadmin utilities:

http://siteadmin.comicgenesis.com - The new, forum-based siteadmin. The only place to upload pogs and chans. Requires that you be logged into the forums before accessing the page.

http://siteadmin.comicgenesis.com:8080 - The old siteadmin. The only place to make changes to your domain (whether you're using .comicgenesis, .comicgen, or .toonspace).

I can't log in to siteadmin either.
Submitted for you approval my complete process in needless detail.
1 Log into forums
2 Type in main page url.
3 Click on Login.
4 Enter my normal website user name and password.
5 Click on Login.
6 The computer stutters around a bit, then nothing, just the same page as I just entered my details into.
7 Swear for a while.
8 Enter forum user name and password.
9 Repeat 6 and 7.
I can't use the old siteadmin, well I can it just does me no good because I'm trying to submit a Gen Chan.

We're dropping the .toonspace domain, and we've banned it from the domain picker. Please move out of it.

I just used the old login page and it works fine cos the new one or the one on the main page anyhow dont work for me.

Same deal here, and it just started happening yesterday.

*raises hand* I'm having trouble staying logged in, too, even when I check the "log me in automatically" box. It's making it very hard to access siteadmin to look at all those Gen-chans.

Able to log in again, and I notice the Gen-chans are showing up on the main page again. Still not able to go to the pog/genchan/banner/whatever section though, but I figure a bit of time will cure that.

Kisai fixed the login problem and is working on the blank page problem.

Um, I still can't log in.
