Newbie here -- Login problems?

Hey, sorry if this is a repeated thread or something. I just now got the password in my email, but I keep failing to log in. Although it seems like other Comic Genesis comic writers are logging in and uploading just fine. Can someone tell me what's wrong?

Sorry, I can't help with logging in, however, I have a question... How did you get your password? When I got my verification e-mail, the link doesn't work, so I can't get verified. Is there some other way?

Oh, I doubt it. I figure this happens with a lot of newbies currently, looking at this big siteadmin problem. All the links in my verification email worked just fine.
I guess this is why the cadet manual page said they required PATIENCE.

Check the announcement for some suggested remedies.
EDIT: Wait, I just realised that trying to open the8080 siteadmin results in a "400 Bad Request". Never mind.

Im a bit of a newbie with this too, any idea how long the password took to come in the mail?

What message do you get? do you get a "Login failed"? Does it just refresh? Have you tried changing your password? (Even though that utility seems to be buggy right now...
) I had the same problem when I signed up.
If it helps, the admin site has been having a couple problems. Your best bet is to try posting on the this thread and wait for the admins to take care of it:
