The "Can't see the comic" Banner ad.

Hey guys. Long time no write. I was wondering if there was any way the wording could be changed on this ad. I don't post a comic on my main page anymore and it confuses my pageviewers into thinking they are missing something. And then they click on that link instead of viewing my site. Maybe if it was changed to "Do you see the 'red x'" Or something.

Just thought I'd ask.

But, when they're affected by that problem, they don't see red xs. They see, if you haven't customized the hotlinking image, white squares. Additionally, they shouldn't ever see that ad unless they aren't sending a referrer from your domain, in which case they won't see your comic either. That is, they should only see the ad if they don't see the comic.
In conclusion, don't worry about it.

Thanks for the reply, but I must admit it simply confused me. :(
Whenever I open up my website on my computer, it shows that ad. Whenever i open a website on other computers, I see that ad. Occassionally, I see the random commercial ads.

i don't have a comic on my main page (indextemplate.html). I use that page as a menu to my comics archive, or my caricatures.

Along with this, some recent freelance clients have visited my site and clicked on that ad thinking it was something I put there. Since there is no comic on my main page, they assume something is wrong.

Maybe I'm missunderstanding something here.
Let me know what you think.

Odd. No clue why it might be doing that.

I think I just figured out that it has something to do with Internet Explorer. That is to say, it shows this ad always on Explorer on my mac. And it does this to every Keenspace site not just mine.

In Safari, the browser shows the proper ads as it should.
