Okay, I'm new to all this comic stuff and would be greatful if someone could help me out with a few questions.
If I use a pen to draw my comics, can't I paint them in a few seconds if I only use one shade of color for each closed section?
What pen should I use, and why?
Thanks.

I like Pigma Micron pens from Sakura. I bought a 3 pen set with .25, .35, .45 pens for only $8. They also sell individualy. I don't like any pens that I need to dip (I just get really messy) and I don't like the rapidograph pens, I had some but they game me alot of trouble and are more expensive. I chose the micron ones cause they are reletivly inexpensive and I don't have to change ink (I think).

Actually, it depends on how you colour, what programs you use, if you do it by hand, and whatnot....if you're that antsy about colouring, a lot of people go b&w during the week and just do colour on Sundays...that way it's only one day a week that you have t'colour, really.
M'self, I use Zig pens, bought a set of five different sizes for I forget HOW much but they work lovely. *g*

Dex, I went to you sunday comic, and it does look hard to color that way. I was thinking more of the way Ian does RPGWorld, is that easy to do? My friend told me if you draw with a pen, scan it into photoshop, you can color it in a few minutes. I have photoshop so that's what I'm planning on using to color my junk. You said it depends on your drawing style as well, so I'm going to give you a link to my first four characters I did in pencil a few weeks ago.

As you can see, I like using a thick line, and it's a pain. Will this be easy to color?
This is the first time I've shown anyone my first four characters, so I hope you like them. <IMG SRC="
