Oh... and how do I write the news for today?
I mean... do I have to manually edit the Index template? If so, which one, Index in the public directory or indextemplate in the workspace directory?

Not too sure about your first problem, but THIS one I can help you with - you want to update the indextemplate in the workspace directory - you really don't want to go into the public directory, period, because if you mess around with stuff in there you can seriously wreck your page.
Either a text editor like Notepad, or one of those spiffy editors like Dreamweaver'll do, all you have t'do is add your 'news' in whereever you'd like it to go.

You can make other pages anyway you'd like, just as long as they have the ***advertisement*** tag in them. Once they're made slap them up in in /workspace/webpages/ and let AutoKeen do it's stuff (or run a regular update if you can't wait) The only other thing to note is the links to them is just /somepage.html you don't need the full URL.
And as for a message board, just go here and ask nicely for one.
The setting of backgrounds is covered in the <a href="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/Forum1/ ... background thread on this Help forum.
------------------

Before everyone else chimes in with their Microsoft-bashing, let me start off by saying that FrontPage is perfectly fine. It may have come with MS Office if Office was packaged with your computer.
I really don't understand the problems a lot of people say they have with FP.
------------------

Frontpage works for me... but I always tweek in notepad! Or my old Turbo Pascal editor... *grin*
Most comics can be done easily in Frontpage, but you do have to remember that it codes for -Internet Explorer- and not Netscape. Thus, Netscape users will often see something completely different that you want.
I've gotten lax myself, but it's a good idea to look at the page through -both- browsers to make sure you haven't given Netscape a heart attack! ^_^
Martha (and cats)
StarCrossed Comics : 'Camera Angles', 'Beta Virs-ion', and 'A Helping Hand' http://cameraangles.keenspace.com

I use Dreamweaver (go to http://xenith.keenspace.com if you want to see my site) , and it is the EASIEST program I have ever, ever worked with. Period. *g* I highly recommend that one - I know....NOTHING of html whatsoever, but didn't really have more than just a few problems with making my site.
