Does Keenspace support SSI or PHP?

I think the subject is pretty much self-explanatory.

If you want that stuff, you gotta use KeenPrime. However, you don't really need most of it, and SSIs can be emulated with the ***include WHATEVER*** KeenTag.

The answer to this question will aways be NO because for security reasons no user uploaded scripts can be run on users sites.

The solution here is if you simply want to include stuff, use the provided include tag or date text files with the same date of the comic.

If you are looking for something like phpnuke or forums. STOP, pay for your own webhost and quickly see how expensive running dynamic content becomes. One slashdotting and you're out a few thousand dollars.

Unless you're lucky enough to find hosting with unlimited bandwidth.

*drools at the prospect*

'Course, to be fair, dynamic content has absolutely zero to do with the problem of being slashdotted. If you have that much traffic, your bandwidth will be eaten up regardless as to whether you're supplying static or dynamic content.

BUT

If you're supplying dynamic content you're server's going to be working REALLY hard to provide it, and might choke :)

Err...Midphase?

Unfortunately, I hear the downtime is excessive.

Well let's assume that I mean something without excessive downtime :)

Truth told, I was more thinking of getting fibre directly to my home. It's not terribly expensive monthly, it'll just cost a fair chunk to get the line running to my home, depending on where it is. :)

They don't offer unmetered bandwidth for sites that mainly serve images. That probably includes, well, webcomics.
