Removing pages from archives? Odd "Next Comic" lin

I looked around for a couple days and didn't find an answer for this, so I'm just going to go ahead and ask...

Over the summer I had some issues with my computer, which lead to the posting of two "sorry there's no comic" pages in my archives. Now that my computer is fixed, and there's comics again, I really really REALLY want those out, but I can't quite get rid of them. I deleted the pages from the archive, both /d/ and /comics/, and ran a full update, which resulted in the page before it generating a 404 error when I clicked the "next comic" link (and I reloaded plenty of times to try to fix it). I ended up returning the useless pages to the archive for now, until I learn how to fix that issue.

On a similar note, I also have a page here where, when I hit the "next comic" link, it takes me to the main page, skipping several pages of the archive, so I'm also wondering about how to fix this.

Thanks for any help on either question. ^^;;

Odd. It used to do it but now it doesn't, as I suddenly find I'm in the same situation. Try deleting and re-uploading the comic before and after, as well as the one you wish to remove, and see if that works.

I had this problem; try doing what you did last time. Delete the comics from public html and from the /d folder. Do a full update, then upload the dailytemplate and run an update. That should work.

Well, I followed my own advice (delete offender, and previous and next comic, reload the latter two) and it worked.

I followed your advice too... ^_^ Had to do it a couple of times for the one with the odd link, since the first time it decided to migrate to the next page, rather than fix itself. But now my archives are fully working and free of "can't update" junk. Thanks for the help! ^_^
