ok... so i don really have a web comic per say but as a viewer i can see any of the images. I've gone through the FAQs and yes, i do Norton FW, and yes, i have gone through the steps suggested (assuming they apply to my problem). Instead of the image loading properly the only thing that shows is a white box which (i can only assume) is the same size of the intended image. I have routed through the help centre trying to find a solution to this problem... this question has mostlikely been answered and i also mostlikely look like an uber newb
... all i know is that i cant stand those mother white boxes any longer!!!! thanks for your time...

What Browser are you using.
The latest versions of Opera strip referrer information by default.
(Fix for that is here)
I don't know if other Browsers do the same.

question number 1:
no i am not excessing from an university line... normal cable ethernet that goes through a router. this may be the problem... and i have no idea how to change it's configuration. However... in no way has this router proven to show any effect on previous loading...
question number 2:
I have a number of different browers that i have tried on... Explorer 6.0, MSN Explorer (even thought i am unable to get the update properly installed..???), and netscape 7.0 have all given the same results.
anyother questions throw them this way.... i've actually looked into this for a fairly long time and im stumped... thanks for the help

If it's the firewall on your University server, there's not much you can do about it your Sys admin will be only one with access.

hey jareth...
hey jareth... when you say i dont know how to do that.... do you mean you dont know how to change your personal norton firewall settings or you dont know how to change the university firewall settings... if its the university one then your totally screwed as far as i can tell... but if the problem is with norton go the the first FAQ announcement and follow the instructions, later
