Tags showing instead of images and buttons

Post by Endlessvoid »

I've had my comic page for a long time, and the tags have been working fine until one day I decided to change the background colour of my site. The next day when it uploaded the tags showed and my comic did not show. I don't know what got messed up.

KILL MICROSOFT WORD~~!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, that's the reason why your pages is messed up. You used microsoft word to revamp your page, it in turn messed up your Keentags:

Code: Select all

 <p class=MsoNormal align=center style='text-align:center'>***<span
  class=SpellE>todays_comics</span>***</p>
As you can see here, it inserted a bunch of junk code and destroyed your keentag, making it unreconisable to autokeen.

Manually remove the junkcode and it should work.

Oh, and try using Notepad next time. It doesn't try to be smart. ;)

Comics still not showing

Post by Endlessvoid »

Okay, so now I've got my tags fixed, but instead of my comics showing I just see a big empty white square. How do I fix that?

I actually see your comic. I'm not sure what the problem is.

I can see your comic too. .... Perhaps you have some firewall or particulary picky ad-killer or something...

BTW, I'm not sure if blue links on blue background are the best colour scheme.
You are the Non. You must go now, and never return."

"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves,levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.
