How To Ask For Help On This Forum wrote:I really shouldn't have to put this up, but since people keep making the same mistakes over and over...

Learn and avoid being malleted.

How To Ask For Help
  1. Read the FAQ and Guide Threads before asking for help.
  2. Make sure you have read the FAQ and Guides properly and have not just skimmed over it.
  3. State your problem clearly and concisely, with as much detail as possible.
  4. List down the steps you have done so far.
  5. ALWAYS include your Keenspace URL. Even if you don't have a Keenspace site yet but have signed up for an account, include the signup name.
  6. Sometimes it helps to state what browser, operating systems, firewalls etc. you are using.
  7. Be polite.
Here's an example of a good post:
I followed the FAQ and Guides, and have managed to set up my Keenspace site.

Here's what I did:

1) I uploaded my images to /workspace/images/ folder
2) Uploaded the new HTML files to workspace/webpages
3) Uploaded my dailytemplate and indextemplate to /workspace
4) Triggered a regular manual update

However, some of the images on my site ( http://longestsojourn.keenspace.com ) do not appear to be showing up.

I've checked the HTML code for the site, they appear to be correct. Here's an example of the code I used:

Code: Select all

I'm currently using Mozilla as my browser, running on Windows XP.

Any help would be appreciated.

A bad example:
I know I did everything right but images broke. Help plz.

Remember, the better you present your problem, the faster we can solve it.

Happy Webcomicking!

lol.
You are the Non. You must go now, and never return."

"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves, levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.
