Since I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, I just wanted to make sure you guys were aware that Keenspace isn't updating... either manual or automatic. There are over 5,000 comics in the queue waiting to be updated currently.

If somebody was already working on it, well, thanks and good luck.

I also noticed this. There's something like 5331 comics waiting to update (one of them mine). And it doesn't appear to be doing ANYTHING... just stagnating there.

Ditto on that one. My page is still stuck on May 3rd and I recently checked the members page for my Log of my site statistics, also unchanged. Maybe that considers that AutoKeen is down or having trouble too?

I just realised Online Comics Day is Tomorrow.

If this is another AutoKeen breakdown The conspiracy theory that Keenspace breaksdown only when it can't afford to (Halloween, etc) will certainly be justified.

This is bad. Very bad.

By the way, is this 'Space-wide or just some sites?

5457 sites are waiting now. Considering there are only around 4000 (probably more now) sites that actually update, I would say it's Keenspace-wide. I was supposed to have an update today and then Comic Day tomorrow. *Sigh*

That's what I thought. I, and many others, are relying on Online Comics Day to attract more readers, and if keen doesn't work, none of us get to participate (the comic has to actually be up, or your link isn't featured nicely.)

you can blame this one on HE.NET rebooting our servers for no reason. that triggers a failsafe on the dispatcher so it doesn't run in case -IT- caused the reboot.

I'm having it do a forced run right now, it should clear up in a few hours, please do -NOT keep trying to do a manual update, you will only put yourself at the back of the line.

*passes out pitchforks and torches for a stroll over to HE.NET* ^_^

seeing as how there are nearly 150% of all KSpace comics attempting to update, should we be afraid that the'Space is gonna burst into flames and kill us all?? *trembles with fear*

Okay, thanks Kisai! Out to save the day once more. Can someone post when it's fixed so that we know there are no more worries?

It was up to 9300 first time i looked, tried again recently it's 4500, seems to be going down but slowly.

I don't mind that part much, what is bothering me is i can't upload anything through the ftp and it disconects me all the time when it's trying. So that makes the manual update useless since i can't get anything up to update.

Yeah, my FTP is a bit slow. Then again, that's just my computer in general.

And now the entire Keenspace appears to be down.

Everything didn't update. My comic is down, so are a bunch of others. Heck, my forum avatar won't even load.
