Sorry if this has been asked before and I just didn't see it when I checked... say I wanted to add a subdirectory to images, for instance, "fanart," would this mess up any of the keen systems at all, or would things continue to run as they should? Same question for the webpages directory, and I have no intention of messing with the rest. Thanks!

Not at all. Image sub directories can be created fine.

Subdirectories in the webpages folder will be created in public_html when you do a site update, however, you may not be able to delete those files that autokeen generates.
