Hmmm, anyone notice that for a good portion for the Keenspace Guide entries, the author part is missing?
Currently mine reads:
------------
The Jaded
By
Last Update: 20031203
First Comic: 20030325
------------
Not only that, but in the SiteAdmin2 menu, the option to edit authors is gone too.
Here's a screenshot of the old menu
http://thejaded.keenspace.com/workshop/ ... inMenu.jpg
And in the new one, it's simply missing.
Hmm...
The Case of the Missing 'Author' fields?!
Yeah, same here. Just curious, did you edit your author info before that?
I did, and it got deleted. And I heard someone didn't and it didn't.
Right now I live in fear, because the tiniest glitch, and my password goes wrong, and I have no way of getting another one. (no author-no e-mail

You are the Non. You must go now, and never return."
"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves, levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.

Well mine is still there wether I try it from siteadmin2 or siteadmintest. I have edited it a few times from siteadmintest. There are however a few problems as some of my older work show my old username instead of the new one although I have rebuilt all the pages.MysteriousAges wrote:siteadmin2 has never shown it for me. Only siteadmin test ever has.

I'm moving all the user-stuff to PHP, not because I'm sick of perl, but because stuff I want to do I can't do with Perl without maintaining a stack of libraries and I can do it in PHP just as fast, if not faster, plus PHP has session management and persistant db connections... thus I can throw that horrible monster of authentication away and replace it with something easier to maintain.
The Perl implementation of the client utilities was originally supposed to be in PHP, but I wrote stuff in Perl before I learned MySQL so I ported stuff to MySQL functionality.
Now I'm rewriting the client-end side of the utilities in php so it's easier to maintain... just maybe we'll see a new newsbox. I can in THEORY make it work right now, but there is no way for users to change it.
