Does anyone know of a way to add text to the index automatically?
Or Do I have to update the indextemplate the day before the automatic update
Can I add coments or a link to an archived comic page?
------------------

Your daily comic itself (i.e. what gets substituted in for the keentag ***todays_comics***) can include text etc.
***todays_comics*** plugs in all the /comics/yyyymmdd.* files in alphabetical order (e.g. yyyymmdda.gif, yyyymmddb.html), and the don't have to just be gif or jpg images, they can be html files! This is how I've set up my comics. In fact my /comics directory only has yyyymmdd.html files, which themselves refer /image/yyyymmdd.gif and any auxiliary images I am wanting displayed that day.
This also permits wacky stuff like using an html table to display each panel of a strip as a separate image (which I fooled around with today).
hope this helps,

So in other words, I can pop a rant in with a comic in a single file?

But it seems to want to disregard the notions of giving me a tags within the todays_comics HTML file. Is there a way to do that? e.g. Put a ***last_day*** in a ***todays_comics*** HTML file and have it pop up the image?
------------------
