Tag help please

How would I go about putting text under my comic (such as news, etc) so that it will follow the comic around the archive? I tried naming the HTML file the same as the date of the comic, only the comic is a and the html is b, they are in the same folder, but the text doesn't show up on the page.
Any help is appreciated, Thanks

I can't check out your site unless you tell me your username, so I'll take a shot in the dark and ask "are you trying to include full HTML files (<html><head> ... </body></html>) or just the parts that actually go with the text?"

Sorry for the long delay in replying.

And actually, I tried both with full html code (the HTML command, etc) and with just the text commands. Neither works.
On a side note, am I supposed to use the ***today's comic*** or whatever tag twice or will that just bring up the comic twice?
