i have 2 problems i think theyre related.
1)i accid. deleted my index.html (/public_html) so i tried updateing, then reuploading the indextemplate(/workspace) and updating. no change what should i do???
2)why doesnt keen put the the html i save in /workspace/webpages to /public_html/d/ and not just /public_html ???

my page now shows the index of files. and if i go to say 20020530.html, it shows todays, not that days comic. and the next_day buttons arent loading right.

Ok, my kinda new with this but after fighting against my own site for a week I finally fixed all the bugs.

So heres what you should do, erase the index from your public and the template from your work place. (You could just erase all the html files to have a fresh start, thats what I did)
Anyways, now upload your tempate at the work place and upload every webpage that you have erased in your workplace folder.
Now update it by using the keenspace manager.

i tried that. no dice. theres a folder in /publi_html named "indextemplate" w/ an arrow on it(as if where ashortcut to somewhere) but i looked at its properties: indextemplate.html . the size was 46 bytes so its too small to be the html. so i just ignored it, and uploaded an indextemplate to /workspace. and updated. abso-freakin'-nothing. seriously i think everyone should look at it. this is your brain on drugs ---> http://sptad.keenspace.com

You see,
the images folder is IN the public html folder, but theres a short cut to it inside the work space folder.
Just put the pics in the image folder, and the html in the main folders but not in the sub folders.
The main webpage, of course.

i know where files go. and i know html. i DONT know why my indextemplate wont update.
