Sorry, the updater is broken, probably forever.
You'll have to move to a different host if you don't want to do everything manually from now on. Smackjeeves has a mass uploader that can make things easier. Just go to "Manage Webcomic" click "Add a Comic Page" and then go to "[BETA] -> Try the New Uploader >>". Then just remember to select the "all at once" option from the drop-down menu and be on your way.
