CG login failure [Solved]

Post by [geoduck] »

I don't know if anyone still checks these messages, but the ComicGenesis site is refusing to let me officially log in, either via WWW or FTP; both methods just freeze up with no error messages. The comics are still up and accessible, or at least mine is.

Wednesday, still broken. If I try to FTP in, I get my password accepted and I get as far as:
200 PORT command successful
LIST
And then everything just freezes up.

If I try to use the WWW link, siteadmin doesn't reply at all or I get a 403 error message. I used 8080 to check all my info, and it says it is all correct.

The comic itself is still accessible.

You should probably PM one of the admins about it. They clearly don't visit the forum on a regular basis.

After several days, my access was abruptly restored. Dunno if it will last, but if whoever fixed the problem comes by, thanks.
