404 errors everywhere in the ger

Postby FunnyPerson on Tue Jun 09, 2015 2:00 pm

Its been a long long long time, but I was hoping to revive my comic finally.

Thing is, I am getting 404 for lost password, for status... everything.

Is the Gear defunct? Or is CG Defunct?

From a functionality standpoint, yes and yes, unfortunately :( I mean I personally haven't tried even logging into siteadmin for my CG-hosted sites in probably at least 3 years so I'm likely not the best person to ask but I've seen so many people come through with similar issues to what you post and it doesn't seem to get resolved. The gear is definitely done for (I seem to recall a message somewhere saying along the lines of "The Gear is defunct, use the Guide instead" or similar) and has been for quite some time, the site itself is hobbling along a bit but there's been a lot of issues people've had with logging into siteadmin, accessing old files, trying to fix other problems.

Don't kid yourself, friend. I still know how.
