Is automation required? The reason I ask because I just got my account and it occurs to me that I don't draw my strips 2 or 3 weeks in advance, in fact I usually only draw them 3 or 4 days before they're due and the whole automation system doesn't really suit me all that well. Do I HAVE to use it or can I just ignore it?

For example, if you make some change to your site after you've done 100 comics, then you'll have to edit all 100 pages manually, unless you use the automation.
------------------

Even if you do only upload them 3 or 4 days before they're due, I don't see how the keenspace system hinders you. It works the same whether you upload a day early or a year early. It's still a lot easier than making a whole new HTML page every time you update.
------------------
