First of all: I am new, and I am trying to set up my page.
Second: I cannot access the /workspace/images directory. Maybe it's the freeware I'm using -- that it doesn't allow to go past one subdirectory? I don't know. I need help with FTP -- I can code HTML easily, but I am blind as to how to get my stuff to upload.<P>There are other things, I'm sure, but the FTP help is critical right now. My account's been active for several hours and I feel pressured to get started immediately.

For the FTP stuff it would be good to head over to Download.com. Search for FTP. I can personally recommend CuteFTP or WS_FTP having used them myself. I prefer WS_FTP but it doesn't really matter. Afterwards you just login to yourname.keenspace.com. A lot of this stuff is client dependant.<P>------------------

The best one IMO, is a Freeware prog called <A HREF="http://www.smartftp.com/" TARGET=_blank>Smart FTP.</A> <A HREF="http://portside.keenspace.com" TARGET=_blank>PortSide</A> wouldn't be there without it. <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif"><P>------------------

Actually, I found out about the case-sensitiveness on my own. Today's just been a crazy day. Thankfully, not as crazy as yesterday.

I mangaged to sorta figure things out...the comic is up, at least. But my logo won't show up. What did I do wrong? (The tutorial says it goes into the /workspace/images folder, which can't be opened and references back to one on /public_html, where I stuck it in (big guess here) the /images folder. AND IT DOESN'T WORK.) Still trying to get the bugs worked out, but at least it's up.

First, what's your URL?<P>Second, make sure to check you case. File assosciations ("A Href"'s) are always case-dependant. .JPG isn't .jpg. Even if you know that, it's worth checking. I think it's caused everyone a screw-up at least once.<P>------------------

You should be able to put stuff in workspace/images/. What FTP prog are you using?
Your 'Space looks like this:
<B><I>Name_Of_Site/</I></B>
.
.<B>public_html/</B> (what visitors can see - pages with html not tags)
. .comics/
. .d (pages for previous comics)
. .(copy of) indextemplate.html (?)
. .(copy of) workspace/ (includes subfolders)
.
.<B>workspace/</B>(put you stuff here and below)
. .comics/
. .data/
. .(copy of) images/
. .webpages/ (pages with tags)<P>As far as I can tell, stuff put in the copies (linked-to's?) should be tranferred to the main version of that folder. Try putting your logo in <B>public_html/workspace/images/</B>.
