Okay, in the future, try to be more specific. Ah, to update your indextemplate or dailytemplate, download it to your 'puter from ftp://yourwebsite.keenspace.com/workspace/ then edit it and put back up. It will update when you specified it to do so.
NOTE: don't edit it till you know at least a little bit of html (or alot). I'm still trying to figure out what I did those first horrible days )
Comics go in your comics folder, other pages go in your webpages folder (make sure you have the comic tags in both your templates), etc etc. If you have a more specific post, go ahead. Until then, I hope this helps! Good luck!

...I feel stupid, but could you be more specific? I really don't know crap about what you just said.. or how to do that, in truth..
Not that I don't know html.. but keenspace updating is confusing for me.
[edit]God.. okay.. maybe I should try thinking things first.. and not posting when I'm tired.
[This message has been edited by Russ-san (edited 11-23-2001).]

I don't recomend the use of browsers to upload stuff into your /workspace/ - a number of problems here have been traced to them corrupting the files they're uploading (I'm currently working on a problem at the that appears to be ftp/browser related).
You're much better running a search for a "free ftp client" and getting something like Smart FTP, or WS_FTP.
------------------

Alrightythen, let's do it!
1. Type in ftp://nameofyourcomic.keenspace.com
2. Enter your user name (case sensitive as it may be) and password. Before you should come up two folders, public_html and workspace. You will work in workspace (heyheyhey!)
3. Double click on workspace. I would open Windows explorer right around now. To edit your indextemplate (what people see when they type in nameofyoursite.keenspace.com) or your dailytemplate (going back to view previous comics/drawings), do either one of two things:
a. Drag the html to any folder on your computer.
b. right click, select copy to folder, then select whatever you want.
4. to edit these codes, open any text editing program (I personally like notepad - oldafashioned me) and mess with the code (don't foget ***advertisement***). To let other people see it, drag it from the folder back to your workspace folder. Either go to site maintanence and do a regular update or give it at least 24 hours. You're bound to be golden.
If you want more, just post anything specific! I'll check back occasionally!
Ja ne!
Practice! I've been working on my alot for two odd weeks and I'm still not ready to tell anyone about it.
[This message has been edited by kingironfist (edited 11-29-2001).]

Thanks for that, Seven3. I have noticed that IE's ftp program isn't the hottest on the market. I'm gonna go find me some of those others now.
