Hmm... I was trying for the first time tonight to follow along with the tagtorial, and subsequently gear, and their troubleshooting page. I recieved page not found errors when I tried to use both my own and the main ftp site. My question is... Is the outage causing this, or am I making a newbie error somehow?

I'm not sure what's going on. My site is back up, but the page has not updated to the new comic yet.
Each time it's "updated," I've had to go into /public and put the comic there myself
------------------

I'm having a problem updating my comic Halo Lockdown (http://halolockdown.keenspace.com/).
I'm not new to KeenSpace, I've done another webcomic called The Epicenter before, but I've never had this problem. When I tell my site to update itself, no new index.html is generated. The comics are in the workspace/comics/ directory and the indextemplate.html is in the workspace/ directory. It doesn't matter wither I do a full or normal update; no update occurs. I've uploaded a new comic, dated yesterday to make sure that it would be acceptable to make that the newest comic, but it still does not update.
I also had this problem with my other webcomic, Owen and Gwen (http://owenandgwen.keenspace.com), but repeated tries for a full update seemed to pump out an updated page...

Scrawlings (scrawlings.keenspace.com) is still down, not that that's a big loss atm, what with not having any comics ready for upload.
------------------

With the removal of accounts that never started, I can't start uploading strips for a while due to not being able to get near a scanner, so I've placed a filler image to that effect. Is that enough?
------------------

yep, everyone's down...
No big, I'm hoping what this means is that people who don't have any comics or ones that are older than methuselah would be bumped off, giving us new folk and regular updaters a better shot at decent netspeed =)
------------------

http://fuckutopia.keenspace.com is also showing the fatty keenspot list o' death. The ftp stuff is still up, but I don't find it in the keenspace comic list. It was added very recently, but I did post a piece of filler artwork dated July 28, 1982. (I wanted to see if the auto-updater was "stupid" enough to let me get away with that) Anyway, fix it sometime if you could, 'cause I'm almost ready to start putting up strips.
Dammit all,

Alternate Delusions (htt ... ace.com) is also down, but it might be because I postponed making actual updates to the comic until 11/12 (I only received the account last week). I only wanted to start the comic fresh on a Monday. I'm sorry for being such a newbie; I'll try to not let it happen again. Thanks for getting it back up again when you can.
- Tim of Alternate Delusions
