Okay, just for transparency sake, I'm going to put all the tweaks I make to AutoGenesis (the update engine) here. Discussion below, of course, but still...

2012-11-10 Comics will be scanned by ClamAV before being updated. This will slow updates slightly but unfortunately we're getting virus reports too often for my liking. If a virus slips by, and we get notice of it, we will at least clean up the site, move the offending file to the vault, and change your password. You may or may not get notice of it. If your comic hasn't updated in three(3) years, it may just get archived and removed.

How do you prevent this? Simple: Change your password to a MUCH longer passphrase. At least 12 letters/numbers/symbols or longer. Something you can remember. If you're tempted, you can get LastPass.
