Have you read the instructions on the CG Wiki? But if you still need help with anything, let us know

A banner on the forums? I think you hafta use an image host like Photobucket or Image Shack. The img tags go inside the url tags, like:
[ url=http://appletine.comicgenesis.com/cast.html ] [ img ] http://www.photobucket.com/Appletine/banner.jpg [ /img ] [ /url ]

For html you use <a><img></a>. You'll get a border unless you put border=0 in the <img> tag.

Do you know of any other sources of help on this issue. The CG Wiki is like trying to read a collaboration of HTML advice from a group of 8 year olds who know more about computers than I do. It makes no sense. Some of the pages are informative, but anything having to do with actually formatting the page is like trying to read in foreign language.
