Another reminder to all: you need to wait from one to twenty-four hours for the first email to arrive.

Hi, uh...ok, whenever I try to register, I submit all the information and I do everything that the form says, but it keeps taking me to the same form over and over again. Do I have to turn on my cookies in my browser settings or something? Help is appreciated! Thank ya!

It did that to me before, but apparantly there are errors in your submission form if it does that. It should say at the top of the page what's wrong with your form.

It doesn't say there's any errors, it's the exact same page over again.

Yes.

It'd help if you'd tell us what browser you're using.

If it's Mozilla, just click Tools-->Cookie Manager-->Allow Cookies from this Site.

So I tried to sign up for Keenspace...

Post by Striker »

...on December 21st.

I still haven't been able to log in. It says my site is ready, the sample page is up, the password is supposedly activated...I just can't bloody access it. FTP access and standard login both result in 'incorrect password' messages. I've tried the 'password lost' option to get assigned a new password, but that hasn't worked either...I'm getting slightly desperate here.

For the record, I'm using Firefox (should be the newest version) and cookies are activated.

Request a new password at this address:

http://siteadmin.keenspace.com/cgi-bin/ ... ssword.cgi

Within twenty-four hours, you should receive an email allowing you to activate your custom password.

I've done that. Twice. I waited 48 hours or more after each attempt. No password.

This server is mocking me.

Well, when something computer-related is funky, the best way to solve the problem is to request help.

Not to get any help. Requesting is usually enough for your problem to solve itself.

Check your signup status here:

http://siteadmintest.keenspace.com/cgi- ... status.cgi

If you're listed as signup completed but not showing up on the comic status, please let me know. I'm beginning to suspect something's wrong with Keen Machinery here.

Well, the Check status says "Signup completed, check username status"
So I figure there are two options: you will either be accepted and get your site eventually. (Patience young grasshopper)

Or your signup will be rejected. In that case you will have to re-sign up using an actual comic sample. You will be able to sign up for the same name. (unless someone else signs up for it after your signup is rejected, but before you resignup)

We have no authority to accept samples that do not meet the acceptance guidelines.
You are the Non. You must go now, and never return."

"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves, levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.

My account says "Signup Activated". I got no email and I went to change password. Still no email. Changing PW takes how long to get your email? Plus the domain isn't even existant.
