My site is

cppac.keenspace.com

The problem is, I can't get the background to work, and my comics are in the wrong order...

Your second comic is named incorrectly: 2004121b.gif . I assume this should be 20041121b.gif . To fix it, simply delete the HTML page from the /d folder (http://cppac.keenspace.com/d/2004121.html is the one you want), delete the comic file from public, rename the comic file, and upload to workspace. Then just run an update from siteadmin and the problem should be fixed.

As to the background problem you're having, this is what you have:

Code: Select all

< body bgcolor="black" text="white" link="blue" vlink="purple" alink="red" >
And this is what it should be:

Code: Select all

<body bgcolor="black" text="white" link="blue" vlink="purple" alink="red">

Did you overwrite the indextemplate and run an update from siteadmin (something which I probably should have mentioned but didn't because I'm a doof)?

the space between "<" and "body" is what ruins it.
You are the Non. You must go now, and never return."

"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves,levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.

That means a) it isn't overwritten b) the site has not updated.
